Kayakers’ Oasis

As avid kayakers, my clients wanted to come home after a day out on the water and have a beautiful and easy transition back to home. The outdoor shower allows them to clean up easily and the storage shed houses their kayaks and a workshop space. The nearby hot tub lets them soothe their tired muscles after their excursions.

In addition, we designed a deck off of the back door that is large enough for the owner’s yoga practice. Using composite decking material avoids splinters.

Finally, we installed vegetable boxes for an easy-to-maintain edible garden and added plantings specifically to attract pollinators.
