Artful Outdoor Living

Surrounded by unruly grass and invasive Nasturtiums, our clients were looking to integrate the exterior of their home with its surrounds.

The front yard was transformed with a variety of native and drought tolerant plantings to provide for seasonal color all year long. We assisted with the selection of a period-perfect lamp post to complement the home’s architecture, and iluminate the entry path after dark.

A poured concrete walkway stamped with a variety of leaves from maturing plantings, leads to the back of the house where a small backyard, with little cohesion, was transformed into private and purposeful spaces through shape, color and form.

The centerpiece, an outdoor dining room, with flagstone pavers and an artistically-designed pergola, provides both informal and formal space for eating and entertaining.

Pebble stone pathways meander through gardens decorated with gurgling fountains and collected art. Look closely, and you’ll see the guardians of the garden keeping a close eye on all that comes and goes.
