Sue OdaSince 1988, Sue Oda has worked with clients to achieve elegant outdoor living areas that complement the surrounding architecture. Sue’s landscape architecture is distinguished by its signature grace, personal approach, and close attention to detail. It’s her goal to make each garden reflect what’s unique and special about each client.

Sue began her career in residential and commercial landscape design, then became a Landscape Architect with the City of Oakland, designing community gardens, playgrounds, and public spaces. She has returned to her love of residential gardens and works throughout the Bay Area.

Bay Are Green BuisnessSue Oda Landscape Architect is a certified green business with expertise in water saving and labor conserving gardens. Sue’s portfolio includes feature projects throughout California and the United States.

Sue designed her first garden at age eight and never wanted to do anything else. She received her formal training at the University of California at Berkeley. She is licensed by the state of California and certified by the Council of Landscape Architectural Boards. She has received awards from the American Society of Landscape Architecture and is a recipient of the Bakewell/Brown prize for artistic rendering of architectural elements.
